Alex Mok

Alex is a dedicated collector of law degrees, bar admissions, and Pokémon plush toys. He is a dual-qualified lawyer with trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Having practiced for nearly a decade with various international firms in Hong Kong, he brings a wealth of experience to his Canadian practice.

Alex specializes in civil litigation and arbitration. He has experience handling complex cases involving commercial transactions, shareholders’ remedies, director’s duties, as well as fraud and asset recovery. He also has experience in assisting clients in regulatory investigations and compliance matters.

Alex is a passionate advocate for access to justice. In Hong Kong, he played a pivotal role in establishing a groundbreaking precedent that enables migrant workers to pursue their claims in the Hong Kong courts remotely from their home countries. In Canada, he has contributed to the Chinese translation of the Guide to Civil Procedure at the Supreme Court of British Columbia for self-represented litigants.

In his spare time, Alex loves learning new languages. When he is not working, he is probably enjoying his 100th viewing of Frozen with his young daughter.
