After many years working as support staff and practicing as a lawyer, Janiene decided to pursue a career in legal management, figuring it was better to help wrangle the cats than be one herself. Since then, Janiene has been focused on making a positive change and being of service to the legal community.

Prior to joining Allen / McMillan, she became qualified as a certified professional coach and ran her own business coaching legal professionals and paraprofessionals.

Janiene enjoys volunteering and holds multiple positions with the BC Legal Management Association, including acting on its current Board of Directors. During her spare time, she loves reading, trying new recipes, learning new creative hobbies, and playing soccer.
