Bryan Hicks is joining AMLC as Counsel!

AMLC is pleased to announce that Bryan Hicks is joining our firm as Counsel.

He is coming to us from a well-regarded national firm, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business, shareholder, director, construction, and real property disputes. Bryan also practices in insolvency and restructuring and has experience assisting clients with matters before the BC Securities Commission. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and brings a practical and strategic approach to his practice.

We are thrilled to have Bryan on the team!

Greg is going on sabbatical!

The AMLC team will miss Greg, but we are excited for him to take some much needed time to travel with his family. We look forward to welcoming him back in October 2025!

Meet Thanda, our new Paralegal

AMLC is pleased to announce that we have hired Thanda Myo as a hybrid paralegal/LAA.

Thanda has a Bachelor of Arts from UVic and graduated from the paralegal program at Capilano University. She recently completed her practicum in the commercial litigation department at a leading firm in downtown Vancouver.

We are excited to welcome Thanda to AMLC!

Congratulations to Naomi Baker, our new Articling Student

Naomi qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2018, working for a number of prominent regional firms in the UK. She has been working with us as a Paralegal for just under two years, while working on requalifying as a lawyer in British Columbia. She has now completed all of her NCA exams and will article with us for five months before she is called to the British Columbia bar.
