Allan Guimaraes

Allan is one of the few Brazilians who doesn’t like soccer. Instead, he finds enjoyment in music, swimming, kayaking and listening to people try to pronounce his last name.

Allan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in administrative science with a global leadership distinction.  Allan was drawn to journalism, and is now drawn to law, by his interest in how professionals in those industries employ their research and communication skills to empower others to make better decisions.   

Before joining Allen / McMillan, Allan worked as a campus coordinator for a local post secondary institution, assisting faculty, staff and administration, as well as counselling students from around the world in program and course selection.  Allan has also worked in the airline and restaurant industries, which  helped to develop his calm demeanor and monastic patience.
